Recommendations

Every guest likes to visit local businesses to get more of a local feel. You could recommend local businesses to your guests. GuestView Guide has integration with Yelp, so all teh business listing are pulled from Yelp. If you are unable to find a business listing, you could also add manually.

In this section you can add local recommendations for 3 categories:

1. Restaurants
2. Activities
3. Directory

To add Restaurant under this section, follow below steps: 

1. Log into manage.guestviewguide.com
2. Select Content and under Recommendations, click ‘Add Restaurant’
3. Select the area and then search by restaurant 
4. Click ‘Add’ to any restaurant that you would like to recommend. Click Next and you will see that all the business details will be populated from Yelp
5. Under the Sub-category, you could select from the list or create your own sub-category. Sub-categories will show as cloud tags under Recommendations page, helping guests to filter the list by clicking on it. On the display, only the top 10 subcategories will be a cloud tag. This is determined by the number of listings that are added to each subcategory. 
6. Add your message to why you recommend a certain place
7. Apply it to your desired properties and Save. 

To add Restaurants manually, follow below steps: 

1. Log into manage.guestviewguide.com
2. Select Content and under Recommendations, click ‘Add Restaurant’
3. Click ‘Add manually’ under search field 
4. Add all the business details and picture 
5. Under the Sub-category, you could select from the list or create your own sub-category. Sub-categories will show as cloud tags under Recommendations page, helping guests to filter the list by clicking on it. On the display, only the top 10 subcategories will be a cloud tag. This is determined by the number of listings that are added to each subcategory. 
6. Add your message to why you recommend a certain place
